Looks like WIZZ was good at digging up the opal horde. Not so sure about the ability to find them in the dirt though Peter!
Its been a while since WIZZ has left the Museum but his wandering paws are on the go again. Latest photos we have received finds WIZZ out the Back 0 Bourke deciding which track to go down.
Got home this morning to find the machinery moved to the front of the Rural Technology Shed. Lucky! as 'had to go' as soon as I jumped the fence and sneaked past Boss and Boxhead.
I think I will just curl up here on the mat in the sun and sleep off my holiday jet lag until the Museum opens again.
What a wonderful country we live in! Spent the day relaxing on the veranda of friends house, nibbling left over snags and chops from the BBQ and then chasing tennis balls from the backyard cricket! Heading home to the Museum next week, I'm all partied out and need a rest.
I woke to a loud noise on the roof on Christmas eve and then was picked up and patted by this jolly red man with a big beard! So this is Santa! He whistled me up on his sleigh and it was a long night. I fell asleep in the back and woke up with a red nose the following morning. Don't tell Ned or I wont hear the end of it till next Christmas!
Checking the troughs and tanks, out on the water runs with some of the locals boys. Also a night run when it was a bit cooler with the full moon out, lucky I didn't start howling
Finding somewhere for a 'rest stop' is proving a tad hard and anywhere for a cool drink is near impossible! 44 in the water bag (if I had one) is a bit hard to take after the cool of the Museum. However since I don't need much to survive I will venture on and see what there is in the far west.
Hahahaha another great name! Rankins Springs...... just my sort of town... Pity I couldn't get my 'spring' a bit closer to the name for a good photo.
