Welcome to the Golden Memories Millthorpe Museum
We are located in the historical village of Millthorpe and are a volunteer managed and run museum. We operate a large complex with eight large buildings (including our new pavilion!) housing many and varied collections from Aboriginal items, fraternal societies, local family and business history, Australian inventions, rural technology, machinery and much more.
A Craft Cottage operates on the Museum grounds during opening hours. Access to the Craft Cottage is free. Please see Jacoba Craft Cottage for further information.
Take a tour around the website and learn about our collections, complex and what we can offer to the passing tourist, tour groups, school groups or those wishing to volunteer or contribute.
We are open 11am - 3pm weekends, school and public holidays or other days/times by appointment for tour and school groups. We are an accredited COVID-19 safe business, and currently, you need to wear a mask and show your vaccination certificate as conditions of entry. Thankyou for your understanding.
